Any vintage New England farm hand will tell you nothing quenches the thirst better than switchel. Particularly after working the hayfields on hot sunny days. Today (fortunately) we don't need a hayfield to reap the benefits of this deliciously refreshing tonic.

Berkshire Berries Switchel is made with our own pure well water and homemade raspberry or blueberry vinegar. The only other ingredients are sugar, a splash of freshly squeezed lemon juice and grated gingerroot.

Before serving chilled from the refrigerator or pouring over ice, shake well to stir up the ginger that settles on the bottom.

Servings Suggestions: Mix with Seltzer, Sprite, 7-Up or even Ice Tea, etc.
